Be Like A Cicada

When you practice, you should be like a cicada, shedding its exoskeleton.

Your new body wants to emerge. Your old body breaks apart & becomes compost.
Your aliveness is waking up inside of you. The fullness of your life can be yours. Your vital internal energy needs to emerge, and saturate your life.
Your old crusty body is the exoskeleton. Your old crusty mind is, too.
Don't worry, just keep showing up. It will happen to you if you let it. If you follow the cues.
Your inner life is waking up. Listen to it. Feed it. Work it.

When you enter, you enter through the foundation. Sit low into your legs.
You will have 101 hearts.

When you enter, you enter through the Dantian. Tap your center into the Earth.
You cannot topple what is already on the ground.

When you enter, you open the Whole Body. Welcome it to saturate you.
In time, you will become buoyant.

When you enter, it will break open your old, crusty body from within. And you will shed yourself.

And with new life, you will take to the water like a dragon.
